ThingSpeak Integration Guide

Overview

Our platform lets you forward your device’s moisture readings automatically to your own ThingSpeak channel—no coding required.
You control which device and which data fields (percent or raw_value) are sent.

Integration Steps

1. Create a ThingSpeak Account and Channel
   Go to thingspeak.com and sign up or log in.
   Create a new Channel for your device data (Channel Settings → New Channel).
2. Get Your ThingSpeak Write API Key
   In your ThingSpeak channel, click API Keys tab.
   Copy your Write API Key (you'll need it for the next step).
3. Set Up Integration on This Platform
   1. Go to your ThingSpeak Integration page.
   2. Click Add Integration.
   3. Fill in:
      • Device EUI – must be a device you registered on your account.
      • ThingSpeak Write API Key – paste the key you copied in step 2.
      • Field Mapping – choose which data is sent to which ThingSpeak field (e.g. percent to field1).
   4. Click Add Integration to save.
4. View Data in ThingSpeak
   Wait a few minutes for your next sensor reading to be pushed.
   Refresh your ThingSpeak channel to see the latest data appear.

Tips & Notes

• You can have up to 2 simultaneous ThingSpeak integrations per account.
• Each integration forwards data for one device to one ThingSpeak channel.
• Mapping fields: You can send percent or raw_value (ADC reading) to field1 or field2 in ThingSpeak.
• If you change your ThingSpeak API key, remember to update it on the integration page!
• To remove or edit an integration, use the same integration page.

Troubleshooting

• No data appears in ThingSpeak?
  • Check your Write API Key is correct and your ThingSpeak channel is public or you are logged in.
  • Make sure you mapped the correct field (percent or raw_value).
  • Make sure your device is sending new data (see your dashboard for latest readings).
• Changed your ThingSpeak API key? Edit the integration on our site and update the key.
